a mixture of home shows, tradeshows, and franchise expos. He thought he had tapped into the main vein of a goldmine!
However, his early efforts at renting booths didn’t go as planned (he didn’t make money), but he noticed something important:
the people attending those shows were significantly higher-quality prospects than any third-party generated leads.
So he kept booking booth space.
It turned out that the shows were not the issue. The disappointing results in the beginning came from what he was offering and how he was offering it. Once Steve adjusted his approach, everything changed — the same shows that once pilling up the financial losses quickly became profitable.
How much have things changed?
In 2026, BOS Events™ will rent more than 50 booths at shows managed by others, and will manage more than a dozen events directly.
Clearly, Steve figured out how to make money at tradeshows — but more importantly, with the help of his well trained team, he’s helping others do it, too!
